If it's just a couple of jumps, you can use a pod. For longer trips, buy a shuttle. They're faster than pods too.

New player myself, but common sense says, join a corp and seek "apprenticeship" with a person in one of those positions. When you're "fully learned", hope that the position opens up or join another corp with that position open.
